Summer Semester Registration Guidelines for the Academic Year 1447 AH
Summer Semester:
The summer semester offers university students a valuable opportunity to shorten the duration of their studies and expedite graduation, or to reduce their academic load during regular semesters by taking some required courses in accordance with their academic plans.

Definition:
It is an academic semester that does not exceed eight weeks in duration, excluding the registration and final exam periods. During this semester, the credit hours for each course are doubled. For example, a course with two credit hours per week becomes four hours per week.
Registration Guidelines:
- The maximum academic load for the summer semester is 9 credit hours.
- English language courses ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 101-1, and ENG 102-2 are not offered in the summer semester.
- Students must attend the course until the withdrawal process is confirmed in their account and a (W) grade appears for the course.
Important Notes:
- Students are responsible for understanding and following the study system and related regulations.
- Students are responsible for registering in courses and ensuring there are no scheduling conflicts. They must contact the Deanship of Admission and Registration if any issues arise.
- Students must attend the section they are registered in and are not allowed to attend another section or multiple sections of the same course.
- Students must regularly attend lectures and avoid absences.
- Students are responsible for checking announcements through email, bulletin boards, or the university website.
- A section will be closed if its capacity is not fully met.
