Self-Designed Degrees (Double Major)
(Double Major):
A double major is a unique academic pursuit where a student delves into two specializations simultaneously, combining her main major program with another major program either within their own college or across different colleges within the university. The additional major's requirements typically entail completing a certain percentage of its core curriculum, excluding general university requirements, elective courses, cooperative training, or the graduation project.

Double Major Conditions:

1. The student must be enrolled in a major program.

2. Achieving a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 out of 5.00 is required.

3. Completion of all first-year requirements in the main program is mandatory.

4. Registration is not permitted after the second year.

5. Selection will be based on the availability of seats, admission criteria specified by each college, and the student's GPA.

6. The student is allowed to register in only one double major program.

7. A student enrolled in a minor program is ineligible to apply for a double major.

8.  Students are subject to the Study and Examinations regulations at the university.

ü  Information regarding the application deadlines, procedures, and eligibility criteria will be announced by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration

Study Duration:

⦁ The requirements of both majors' programs must be completed simultaneously.

⦁ The study duration corresponds to the planned duration of the major program. However, the University Council or its designated representative may extend the program by one academic year (two semesters) to fulfill the program's requirements.

Important note: Admission conditions for double majors are subject to quarterly updates as approved by individual colleges.

Application Controls:

1. The online application service will be open during the specified dates for submission.

2. Each student is permitted to apply for only one program within the designated period. Therefore, it is important to choose the program carefully, as additional applications will not be considered.

3. Application submission does not guarantee approval; applications will be reviewed, and approval will be granted based on sorting results.
