The Deanship of Admission and Registration at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University welcomes students from other universities to complete part of their undergraduate degree requirements as visiting students in one of the University's bachelor's programs. This opportunity allows students to benefit from the University's distinguished academic environment and educational experience.

Visiting student study allows a student to take one or more courses at another recognized university and have the completed courses counted toward her degree plan at her home university.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. The student must be a Saudi national or a daughter of a Saudi mother.
  2. The student must not have been dismissed for disciplinary or academic reasons.
  3. The student must strictly adhere to the deadlines specified in Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's academic calendar.
  4. The University does not provide the student with a stipend, official letters, certificates, or travel fare discounts. These benefits are provided by the student's home university.
  5. Visiting students are not eligible to request university accommodation.
  6. Visiting students may not take a graduation project or field training course.
  7. The maximum period of study as a visiting student is two academic semesters (one academic year).

Required Documents

  • An official letter of approval from the Deanship of Admission and Registration at the student's home university, specifying the courses to be taken.
  • University ID card from the student's home university.
  • A copy of the national ID, with the original presented for verification.
  • An official, stamped academic transcript covering the most recent completed semester.
  • High school diploma.

*Original copies of all required documents must be presented for verification when completing the admission procedures.

 

Application Procedures

  • Contact the relevant college at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to obtain the course descriptions for the required courses well in advance of the deadlines specified in the University's academic calendar.
  • Complete the visiting student application form at the student's home university, including the details of the courses offered by Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (course code, number, title, and credit hours), provided that the courses are offered during the intended semester.
  • Submit the official, stamped approval from the Deanship of Admission and Registration at the student's home university, together with the approved application form.
  • Obtain a University ID card in accordance with the University's regulations and use it throughout the study period.
  • Register for the required courses in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
  • Create a University email account and academic account on the University's systems.
  • Send the student's academic transcript and course results to her home university after the end-of-semester examinations.
  • The visiting student's enrollment will be automatically terminated, and her student record will be closed once her grades are recorded and officially released.
  • Return the University ID card to the Visiting Student Department at the Deanship of Admission and Registration immediately after completing the examinations.
  • If the student is unable to continue her studies, she must submit a leave request at her home university, notify the Deanship of Admission and Registration at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and return her University ID card.
