Dear student,

Not attending class without informing the responsible authorities at the university may result deregistration from the university. Which will lead to suspension from studying and possibly even dismissal.

Deregistration:

It's the deregistration of the student from studying at the university if they are absent for one or more academic semesters without submitting a request for withdrawal or postponement.

The deregistration policy at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University:

‏If the student is absent from classes for one academic semester without requesting a postponement, her registration will be terminated by the university. The university council may deregister the student if she is absent from classes for a shorter period.

Procedures for requesting re-registration:

1- Submitting a re-registration request within the specified deadline in the academic calendar (via self-service).

2- The student submits a request to the college in which she was previously registered in to consider the possibility of re-registration, with her student ID and record before the interruption.

3- Communication with the student is done through her university email address linked to her student ID, id@pnu.edu.sa, in order to complete the necessary procedures based on the college's response.

Re-registration regulations:

1- The application is open to students who meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduate Level: Students who have not exceeded four academic semesters from the date of interruption.

• Diploma Level: Students who have not exceeded two academic semesters from the date of interruption.

2- The student is not entitled to request a withdrawal or postponement in the semester in which she is re-registered.

Re-registration of the student is not allowed in the following cases:

·         - Dismissal from the university (or from another university) academically or disciplinarily.

·         - Previously re-registered (is not entitled to re-registration more than once).

2-Maintaining good conduct, behavior, and reputation.

3-Ensuring registration for the appropriate courses according to the academic plan in which the student was re-registered.
