About Scholarships at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia offers scholarships to non-Saudi students to study at Saudi universities, with the aim of conveying the message of Islam, teaching the Arabic language, disseminating knowledge, and promoting solidarity in service of humanity. The Scholarships Department at the Deanship of Admission and Registration oversees the implementation of scholarship programs in accordance with Council of Ministers Resolution No. (94), dated 29/3/1431 AH.
Internal Scholarships
Available to students residing legally in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
External Scholarships
Available to non-Saudi students residing outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Admission Requirements for Internal Scholarships
- The applicant must be between 17 and 25 years old for undergraduate and diploma programs at the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for Non-Native Speakers.
- The applicant must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom.
- The applicant must have taken the General Aptitude Test and Achievement Test administered by the National Center for Assessment when applying for a bachelor's degree or Applied College diploma program.
- The applicant must not have received another scholarship from any educational institution in the Kingdom.
- The applicant must not have a previous academic record at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
- No more than five years must have elapsed since the applicant obtained her high school diploma.
- The applicant must be medically fit and pass the required medical examination.
- The applicant must not have been dismissed from any educational institution in the Kingdom.
- The applicant must hold a valid legal residency permit.
- The applicant must meet any additional requirements determined by the University Council and announced at the time of application.
- The applicant must pay the prescribed tuition fees after receiving final admission, except for students admitted to diploma programs at the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for Non-Native Speakers.

Tuition Fee Payment Procedure
- Deposit the tuition fees into the University's account at Alinma Bank (Account No. 68206561929000) and submit the bank-stamped payment receipt, bearing the student's name and residency ID number, to the Financial Affairs Unit at the Deanship of Admission and Registration. Online transfers and ATM payments are not accepted.
- Students must pay the tuition fees before the beginning of each semester. Course registration will not be available until payment has been made.
Full or Partial Tuition Fee Waivers
I. Academically Outstanding Students
- 50% waiver: For students with a weighted score of 100%.
- 25% waiver: For students with a weighted score of 98% to less than 100%.
Continuation Requirement: Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 4.75 out of 5.00 at the end of each semester.
II. Athletically Talented Students
Full or partial tuition fee waivers are granted based on athletic achievement and technical assessment:
- Submit a documented and certified athletic record.
- Represent a national team or sports club, or achieve a placing in official competitions.
- Successfully pass the technical assessment conducted by the Sports Affairs Department.
Continuation Requirement: Students must join the University's teams and participate regularly in competitions.
Withdrawal and Tuition Fee Refund Policy
Students are entitled to a full refund of tuition fees if they withdraw before the semester officially begins. After the semester begins, refunds are issued according to the following schedule:

- If a student withdraws from the semester within one month of its start, the tuition fees will not be refunded but will instead be carried forward to the following semester.
- If a student withdraws after one month from the start of the semester, the tuition fees will be forfeited and will neither be refunded nor carried forward.
Required Documents for Application
- High school diploma and transcript (authenticated/equated by the Ministry of Education if issued outside the Kingdom).
- Valid residency permit.
- Valid passport.

Application Through the “Study in Saudi" Platform
Applications are submitted online through the unified platform for admitting non-Saudi students residing in the Kingdom, according to the approved annual application schedule.
