Controls for Applying for the Admission Shift Service
Dear student, congratulations on your admission to Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University! We wish you a successful academic journey.
You can utilize this service to request a shift in your admission into another program after receiving your university number, should you wish to do so. The selection process will be competitive among students based on admission criteria and the availability of seats.
Timetable for the Admission Shift Service:

Admission Shift Application Guidelines:
Options will appear to students based on their composite ratio and high school courses.
applicants will be evaluated competitively according to the admission criteria and requirements, including composite ratio, as well as the availability of seats.
Each student can select a maximum of two preferences.
Upon arranging preferences, students must click "Next" to save and submit their choices. Requests will only be saved and submitted upon clicking the "Next" icon.
4.Changes to preferences can be made until the portal closes using the "Follow up on a previous submission" icon; however, amendments cannot be made after that.
To view the application status and ensure submission, students should click on the "Follow up on a previous submission" icon.
7.Results will be announced according to the specified timetable.
Note:
If the student is admitted to one of the programs entered in the admission shift portal, she will be excluded from the program for which she was initially nominated through the unified admission portal. It is important to know that there is no admission confirmation after the results are announced, and the student's specialization will be updated automatically without the option to change it again.

A: Yes, this option is available only for students admitted through the unified electronic admission portal in the current year, after they receive their university number. Applications will be evaluated competitively based on available seats and admission criteria and requirements.
Q: Is it possible for a student admitted through the second cut-off admission portal for diploma programs to apply for admission shift into another program?
A: No, students admitted through the second cut-off admission portal for diploma programs are not eligible to apply for admission shift.
Q: Why are not all specializations listed as options when I apply for admission shift?
A: Only specializations that align with the student's composite ratio and high school courses are displayed, considering the admission criteria for each college.
Q: If the specialization I wish to shift my admission into is not listed, are there other opportunities to do so?
A: A transfer service will be available later. To stay informed about dates, requirements, and regulations, please follow the university calendar and check your university email.
Q: Is there any prioritization based on the submission date when applying for admission shift?
A: Admission is not prioritized based on the application submission date. Therefore, whether you apply on the first or last day within the specified period does not affect the process. Applications will be sorted after the application period ends and the portal closes.
Q: Is it possible for a student to withdraw or cancel the admission shift application after being approved?
