The University ID Card serves as the student's university identification, verifying her identity as a student enrolled at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. Obtaining a University ID Card is mandatory for all students, including visiting students.

Information on the University ID Card

The University ID Card contains the following information:

  • Student's name in Arabic and English
  • National ID/Iqama number
  • Student's photo
  • University ID number
  • Blood type
  • Nationality

University ID Number

The University ID Number is the student's unique university identifier. It distinguishes each student from others and is used for all university procedures and transactions, serving as an alternative to the student's name.

At Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, the University ID Number consists of nine digits:

  • The first three digits indicate the Hijri academic year in which the student was admitted to the University.
  • The fourth digit indicates the semester in which the number was issued: 1 for the first semester and 2 for the second semester.
  • The final five digits are the student's sequential number for that academic year.

For example, 4451***** indicates that the student began her studies in 1445 AH in the first semester.

Importance of the University ID Card

A digital University ID Card is issued to every student admitted to the University for use in the following situations:

  • Verifying identity on campus
  • Borrowing materials from the library
  • Entering examination rooms
  • Obtaining an official academic transcript and student status certificate
  • Accessing the Conference Hall and Sports Club

University Email

The student's official university email serves as her digital identity and is used to verify her identity when communicating with offices and departments within the University.

University ID Card Regulations

  1. Digital University ID Cards are issued at the University Identity Center, Station A4, Ground Floor.
  2. The University reserves the right to deny a student access to campus if she fails to present her University ID Card to the responsible staff member.
  3. Students who have been issued a physical ID card must return it to the Deanship of Admission and Registration in the following cases:
  • Graduation
  • Cancellation of enrollment
  • Final disciplinary dismissal from the University
  • Completion of the visiting-student period
  1. Students are responsible for taking care of their University ID Cards.
  2. Using another student's ID card or falsifying an ID card constitutes a violation of University regulations and may result in disciplinary action determined by the University.
  3. These University ID Card regulations apply to all University students.

How to Obtain a University ID Card

  1. The Deanship of Admission and Registration publishes the schedule for issuing digital University ID Cards to newly admitted students on the University's official website.
  2. A digital University ID Card will only be issued upon presentation of the student's original National ID for Saudi students or original Iqama for non-Saudi students to verify the student's identity.
  3. Students must provide proof of their blood type.
  4. Students transferring from another university and students admitted as visiting students are subject to the same procedures for obtaining a digital University ID Card followed by the University.
