University ID card

The digital university ID card serves as the official identification for students enrolled at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University. Obtaining the university ID card is mandatory for all enrolled students as well as those studying under the visiting student program.

The digital university ID card contains the following information:

                •   The student's name in Arabic and English.

                •  Civil ID number.

                •   Student's photo.

                •   University ID number.

                •   Blood type.

                •    Nationality.

University ID Number:

The university ID number is the student's university identity, distinguishing each student from others. It serves as the primary identifier for all university procedures for the student, essentially substituting the student's name.

The university ID number at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University consists of 9 digits. The first three digits (from the left) indicate the academic year (Hijri) in which the student was admitted to the university, and the fourth digit indicates the semester in which the number was issued meaning (1) for the first semester and (2) for the second semester. For example, "*****4431" indicates that the student started studying in the first semester of the year 1443 AH (Hijri calendar), and the last five digits represent the sequential number assigned to the student in that year.

The Importance of the University ID Card:

Each accepted student at the university is granted a digital university ID card for use in the following situations:

• Proof of identity within the university campus.

• Borrowing from the library.

• Entering to the examination hall.

• Obtaining the official academic record and identification.

• Access to the conference hall and the GYM.
