The University of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman, represented by the Valedictorian Support Unit of the Vice Rectorate for Academic Support and Student Services, recently implemented a program for its valedictorians to develop their skills. Forty-two students were targeted, chaired by Dr. Nada Al-Rajhi and under the supervision of the Vice Rector for Academic Support and Student Services, Dr. Fayzah Al Fayez. The program aims to support and promote student excellence, activate the role of the University in society, participate in the community development to achieve Vision 2030, invest the students' time and train them to take responsibility, and benefit from the distinguished faculty members at the university. The program also aims at enhancing the national character by enhancing the values of positive, flexible and hard work culture; building an integrated educational journey; providing quality knowledge to those who excel in priority areas; and improving the readiness of young people to enter the labor market. The committees have set requirements for enrollment. The student must have a GPA of 4.75 as a minimum, full compliance to the university regulations and rules, and a commitment to attendance with absence does not exceed 20% of the program credits.
On the other hand, the committees were keen to provide diverse scientific materials in various fields ranging from cultural, health, technology, quality, self-development, and have used modern teaching methods in the implementation of workshops such as collaborative learning, dialogue strategy, and others.
This program is an extension of the efforts of Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University to provide the best services, enrichment programs and activities to develop the of students' skills in an attractive and integrated educational environment following the best local and international standards.
