Saudi Vision 2030 was launched to draw up a roadmap for a unique transformative economic and social reform blueprint that is opening Saudi Arabia up to the world in all levels and reaching a prosperous future and sustainable development. This Vision aims to enhance the strategic direction towards improving the Human Resources by providing qualitative knowledge in priority sectors, by preparing Saudi young people to engage in the labor market, and by developing the applied and professional training, which meets the labor market needs. Accordingly, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University aims to improve the outputs of its education and training to reach global rankings. It provides academic and training programs that will keep pace with the global developments, and meet the requirements and needs of the fourth industrial revolution for local and global labor market in partnership with international and local relevant institutions. Therefore, the Applied College offers different applied programs in various fields that will qualify female cadre with diploma degrees compatible with labor market needs and development goals, such as Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Tourism and Hospitality, Administrative Sciences, Electronic Engineering and Communication, etc.

Dean’s Message •

The Applied College is one of the most important colleges in Saudi Universities, since it is considered an extension to the Community College and the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education. In accordance with Saudi vision 2030, the Applied College has emerged as one of the initiatives of the Human Capability Development Program (HCDP), which is part of the Saudi Vision 2030. Henceforth, the Applied College aims to provide flexible programs that are compatible with the labor market needs, and to support its role with effective partnerships with the public, private and nonprofit sectors, in a way that activates the role of the Applied College in developing of Saudi society and meeting its needs. The Applied College is working on improving its students' skills and developing their professionalism. Moreover, it aims to localize all jobs in different fields according to regional needs. Undoubtedly, the Applied College goals are in line with the strategic goals that Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University seeks to achieve, since it is constantly proposing new academic applied programs with high quality standards, which ensure that qualified female leaders are one of their outcomes. The Applied College is proud of its strong connections with public and private sectors through making many local and international memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements that help to achieve the college's goals. Additionally, the College gets the enable support from the higher authority of PNU to advance the College and its services.
