Overview

The College of Sports Science and Physical Activity was established in 1445 AH / 2024 AD to contribute to achieving a cognitive and practical leap in the sports sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in line with the ambitious 2030 Vision. . The Department of Physical Education Sciences, which was initially established under the College of Education in 1440 AH and graduated its first graduates by the academic year 1444 AH, is considered the initial starting point and main driving force of this journey. The College seeks to be a major contributor to sports development, enhancing the skills of female athletes. For this reason, the college commits to being an essential and active part of the journey of innovation and development in the world of sports in the Kingdom.

Dean’s Message

​​The College of Sports Science and Physical Activity at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University is embarking on a new chapter in the history of women's sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a renewed spirit characterized by ambition, excellence, and activity. The college is guided by the Vision 2030 as a beacon towards achieving the nation's aspirations in developing the sports sector and enhancing the role of women in the sector.

In our college, we strive to provide continuous and updated education that keeps pace with the latest global developments, inspired by our values that encourage growth and progress. We also aim to instill a sense of citizenship and empathy in our students so they can effectively contribute to society and economic development. We will continue to evolve and improve, adapting to changes and updates in the sports sector.

With this spirit, we intend to make the College of Sports Science and Physical Activity a focal point for activating the role of female students in various sports, research, and volunteer activities, to enhance their leadership, professional, and social capabilities. We are confident that this college will be like fertile ground from which generations of empowered women emerge, qualified to contribute to the advancement and development of the sports, cultural, and academic community, not only locally but also on the global stage.​
