Overview

The Foundation Year Program for Health Colleges aims to equip students with the fundamental knowledge required for various health colleges. One of the key factors behind the success and distinction of leading international universities is preparing newly admitted students to integrate effectively into the university learning environment through an intensive foundation program that enhances university outcomes aligned with labor market needs. Based on both international and local experiences that have demonstrated the importance of the foundation year in preparing students academically and narrowing the knowledge gap between general education outcomes and university expectations, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University unified the first-year study plan for health colleges into a one-year foundation program attended by all students admitted to the University’s health colleges
