Overview

The Arabic Language Institute for Non-Arabic Speakers was initiated as a program attached to Arabic Language Department, College of Education in 1399 - 1400 AH, which aimed to teach Arabic language to students who obtained scholarships offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On 19/12/1433 AH, The Arabic Language Institute for Non-Arabic Speakers was established at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in accordance with the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the late King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. Since that time, the Institute has been keen on completing the necessary organizational structures and fixtures to be a distinct scientific edifice in teaching Arabic for Non-Arabic speakers.

Dean’s Message



The Arabic Language Teaching Institute for  Non-Arabic Speakers at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University serves as a global cultural front for the university. The institute hosts students from diverse nationalities globally where culture can be differentiated. The institute link cultural, intellectual and civilizational exchanges where Language can be unified. In 10/12/1431 H, The Arabic Language Teaching Institute was established by the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him. Since then, the institute has been keen on completing the necessary plans and preparations to become a distinguished academic institution in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. With a clear and ambitious vision, rooted in its mission, the institute aims to achieve excellence in learning and teaching the Arabic language. This is achieved by offering leading academic, training, and research programs for non-Arabic speakers as well as establishing local and international partnerships. The institute is committed to enhancing its educational outcomes and services, adhering to the highest comprehensive quality standards. In conclusion, I extend sincere gratitude and appreciation to Her Excellency the university president for her constant support to the institute. I also thank the institute's faculty and administrative members for their dedicated efforts in achieving the institute's goals and supporting the university's mission in serving the Arabic language.
