Overview of College of Law

​His Excellency the Minister of Education approved to transfer the Systems Department from the College of Business and Administration to the College of Law in 2020, Resolution No. 107562. The college includes two departments: The Department of Private Law and the Department of Public Law. Together, the two departments form the Bachelor of Laws program.The college seeks to provide competitive education and produce pioneering research through an attractive educational environment and effective community partnerships, to graduate qualified national competencies that contribute to building the knowledge economy and meet the needs of the labor market and the Saudi Vision 2030.The college is proud to have the first legal clinic licensed by the Saudi Bar Association, which is an opportunity to train college students on practical cases and work side by side with lawyers on real cases. In addition, the college has a moot court, which is an opportunity to simulate real courts and prepare students for the legal work environment​

The College of Law is dedicated to excellence in legal education, guided by a clear vision and steadfast commitment. Our mission is to empower students with a deep understanding of laws and regulations, preparing them to excel in various legal fields. We strive to create an innovative and supportive academic environment that enables students to achieve their full academic and professional potential.

Our approach includes practical training, engagement with experienced legal practitioners, and participation in immersive learning opportunities through our Legal Clinic—the first of its kind in the Kingdom, officially licensed by the Saudi Bar Association. We are committed to equipping students with the skills to analyze complex issues, make sound decisions, and develop critical thinking and analytical abilities. Moreover, we place a strong emphasis on ethical and professional values, integrating them into every aspect of their education.

I am honored and proud to be part of this distinguished institution and all those who contribute to its success. I encourage our students to make the most of the educational opportunities available to them, work diligently toward their goals, and contribute to a brighter future for society and themselves.
