The Sui Club is one of the clubs
participating in the competition with Saudi universities and colleges
within the Ambassadors of Moderation Program 3. The competition focuses
on the strength of the club's projects prevalence, the depth of impact
and the quality of work. The club's core team consists of 20 students
from different colleges, and the number of students willing to volunteer
in the club has amounted to 145 students, to contribute practically to
achieve the goals of Vision 2030 by making the citizen responsible
within the axis of an ambitious homeland.
The
Sui Club is a sustainable student club that contributes to spreading
the culture of moderation and mediation at Princess Nourah bint
Abdulrahman University, affiliated to the Deanship of Students Affairs,
as part of the Ambassadors of the Moderation 3 Program conducted by
Taiba University in Medina.
Ambassadors of the
Moderation Program aims to form sustainable projects through the
establishment of initiatives and sustainable community leadership and
national student projects, derived from the foundations on which the
country is based in all its fields based on field application. To
contribute to the activation of the 2030 Vision themes "a vibrant
society - a prosperous economy - an ambitious homeland", through a group
of university students, to form sustainable projects through the
establishment of community leadership clubs that disseminate moderate
though in various regions of the Kingdom through 30 Saudi universities
and colleges.
The club opened
its first initiative under the name “Shura Nourah", with the project:
Moderation is my attitude in life, which included several axes including
dialogue sessions: "The Importance of Moderate Thought in the
Self-Development of the Inpidual, the Importance of Literature and
Thought in the Industry of Society, the Role of Saudi Youth in the
Realization of Vision 2030". An introductory corner that promotes the
concept of moderation and reasonability, an awareness corner of the
importance of dialogue by involving university students in open
dialogue, and a field trip to all colleges to introduce the club and the
dissemination of the concept of moderation.
Another
project was launched: Moderation in the academic life, this project
included three aspects: the importance of the skills record in achieving
moderation in the university environment, a meeting between students on
the importance of time and how to manage and organize to achieve the
principle of moderation, and academic self-development.
Furthermore,
another project was launched: Moderation as a lifestyle, which included
several topics: Moderation and how to avoid sports intolerance, family
moderation, and moderation in health and consideration of nutrition
balance.
A training program will be implemented to promote
the culture of dialogue and discussion, in preparation for the Nourah
Shura Council, which simulates the Shura Council. Through which exchange
of dialogue between students of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman
University in various colleges, in order to achieve the club's vision of
a university environment dominated by the spirit of moderation and
reasonability under the slogan of the club “Moderation is my attitude in
life".
