Yesterday, Tuesday 13 Rabi II 1441 AH, the College of Art and Design at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University inaugurated the “Nasaq 4" exhibition for students of the seventh batch of Visual Arts Department to announce the beginning of the journey of 26 plastic artists whose works came as a result of four years of learning and discovering all the plastic techniques in plastic photography, artistic printing and sculpture, to demonstrate the style of the artists after they have chosen various topics addressing heritage and modernity with unique creative thought.
As each graduate has chosen a style that distinguishes her to show us their works with a variety of visions of plastic photography, stereoscopic works, and portraits executed in interactive digital drawing. In addition to artistic publications presented with different techniques of artistic printing, artist's book, video art, and graphic art, reflecting the bottom line of their mature artistic experience, under the supervision of the professor of graduation project Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmad and Dr. Eatdal Al-Muqrin.
In this regard, the Head of the Visual Arts Department, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Rasheed, stated that the exhibition highlights the visions of the promising female artists to new artistic angles from the artist's book to the video art. She also added that the performance skill shown by “Nasaq 4" is how to produce artwork that is characterized by quality, a high degree of mastery and creative thinking that the students have gained during academic study in Visual Arts Department.
