The objective of this agreement is to provide a jointly accredited executive MBA program from the University of Strathclyde Business School, in collaboration with PNU, that meets the standards set by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
The joint statement of the economic and social aspects of the Saudi-UK Strategic Partnership Council, issued on Tuesday, indicated that "The two kingdoms also welcomed the plans of the University of Strathclyde to become the first British university to establish a branch within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the PNU".
Dr. Al-Eisa explained how the recently established program between the two universities serves as the initial outcome of their educational partnership. The collaboration aims to transfer knowledge and expertise, enhancing academic excellence, fostering research innovation, and promoting international knowledge cooperation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Eisa took part in a session focused on higher education and skills as part of the initiative titled “International Collaboration in Higher Education: Bridging the Global Skills Gap."
Dr. Al-Eisa emphasized the importance of international partnerships in bridging the global skills gap through cooperation in innovation, student exchange, and scientific research. Through these impactful partnerships, the PNU aims to enhance global citizenship, equip female students with 21st-century skills, develop future leaders, sustain research innovation, and contribute to national visions and sustainable development goals.
