​​​​​Key Responsibilities 

  • Preparing the annual plan for the Academic Affairs Office in the college and following up on its implementation after approval.
  • Implementing the regulations and rules governing the study and examination regulations for the undergraduate stage and ensuring their application by the units under its supervision.
  • Supervising the academic programs at the college level.
  • Supervising the progress of the academic process in the college and prepraing the possible educational environment for distinguished education.
  • Recommending new interdisciplinary programs in the college and developing existing programs in coordination with the academic departments, and follow up on their implementation after approval.
  • Supervising the work of quality assurance committees (programs, exams, evaluation and quality assurance, plans and curricula).
  • Supervising the application of the quality management system in the college ​and ensuring commitment to academic accreditation standards.

Departments and Units:

Department of Educational Affairs

Tasks:

  • Following up on registration, schedules, and submitting reports.​
  • Following up on the progress of exams and submitting reports.
  • Following up on the progress of the educational process and submitting reports.
  • Preparing the academic advising plan in cooperation with the academic departments and following up on its implementation​.
  • Supervising the new student orientation program.
  • Activating the work of the educational process committees (academic probation, course equivalencies, and Dean's list).

Electronic Education Unit

Tasks:

  • Monitoring and cataloging the electronic programs and courses within the college.
  • Providing contact information for members and coordinators of the electronic courses.
  • Supporting course coordinators in case of technical issues.
  • Working on raising awareness of e-learning for all college personnel, including faculty and students.
  • Addressing initial inquiries from members and students and directing them to the technical support team in the administration through available channels to resolve issues.
  • Communicating regularly with the e-learning administration representative and reporting any problems and difficulties encountered in the college.
  • Submitting periodic reports​ on course development and activation for the e-learning administration.
  • Coordinating informative meetings and orientation sessions for the college students.

Department of Laboratories and Learning Resources

Tasks:

  • Supervising the college's laboratories​, inventorying the labs and their contents on a regular basis,  assessing the conditions of equipment, and providing periodic maintenance (in coordination with the university's lab unit).
  • Preparing schedules and organizing internal and external reservations for laboratories and equipment.
  • Organizing the necessary training before using the laboratories and equipment.
  • Providing the labs with consumables and chemicals by submitting requests for educational needs to the relevant authorities and following up on the requests.
  • Supervising the implementation of safety procedures in the laboratories, in coordination with the Safety Management and Radiation Control Administration.​
  • providing and updating references as required.
  • Overseeing the college library and provide and update references as needed by the college ,in coordination with the Central Library.

Department of Education and Learning Quality

Tasks:

  • Implementing the requirements of academic accreditation standards.
  • Continuously evaluating the curriculum and  seeking the opinions of specialists from the job market.
  • Supporting the training and development of faculty members regarding the educational process, in coordination with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
  • Identifying the best and latest educational practices in teaching the specialization and develop plans to adopt them, in coordination with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
  • Monitoring the process of evaluating learning outcomes, identifying areas for development, and supporting members​ in the evaluation process, in coordination with the departments.​

Vice Deanship Key Responsibilties

  • Supervising the annual plan of scientific research of the college.​
  • Supervising the college's graduate programs, examinations and committees.
  • Proposing new graduate programs in the college, developing existing programs in coordination with the academic departments and following up on their implementation after their accreditation.
  • Creating a supportive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Supervising the development of partnerships and college relations with external sectors.
  • Establishing partnerships with the relevant community and service sectors and constructive interaction on the basis of partnership and social responsibility.
  • Supervising the college's investments and its development and specialized work.

Administrations and Offices​:

Research and Innovation Center

Tasks:

  1. Preparing the annual plan for scientific research and research priorities for the college in cooperation with the departments and following up on their implementation after their approval.
  2. Supervising the scientific societies and scientific journals in the college.
  3.  Contacting the academic departments and motivating faculty members to research and  following up on the progress of research work for faculty members and the like.
  4. Communicating and coordinating with other research centers​ inside and outside the university in everything related to the nature of Research and marketing.
  5. Developing the culture of innovation in the college and providing logistical and technical support for innovations in coordination with the Innovation Center at the university.

 Administration of Postgraduate Studies Programs​

Tasks:

  1. Implementating and following up of the university and college policy for graduate studies.
  2. Following up on postgraduate studies affairs and ensuring compliance with the conditions and controls of the unified regulations for postgraduate studies in universities and their executive rules at the university.
  3. Coordinating with academic departments in all matters related to postgraduate studies.
  4. Following up student cases, commitment and verification of the implementation of academic procedures within the periods specified in Regulation according to the academic calendar announced annually.
  5. Following up the progress of the work of the graduate studies committees in the college.

Administration of Partnerships and Social Responsibility​

 Tasks:
  1. Activating partnerships with the public, private and third sectors and enhancing cooperation in order to achieve the college's goals and enhance the future of its specializations (in coordination with the Department of Strategic Partnerships).
  2. Investing partnerships to support the college's strategic plan​ and promoting the provision of specialized community partnership for female students and affiliates in coordination with the departments and student clubs in the college.
  3. Creating training opportunities for students by communicating with external parties, benefiting from partnerships, and providing job opportunities in coordination with the academic departments and the Department of Educational Affairs at the college.
  4.  Designing a skills development and continuing education program and supervising the preparation of its courses and follow-up with faculty members (Health Colleges).

Office of Business and Project Management

Tasks:
  1. Developing internal resources, enhancing sources of income, and monitoring the college's investment account through  the Institute of Development and Consulting Services.
  2. Benefiting from the specialized expertise in the college and establishing houses of expertise (in coordination with the Institute of Development ).
  3. Investing the college's assets in coordination with the competent authorities (establishments and investment management ).
  4. Reviewing the proposed future projects at the college's sites and studying the economic feasibility of the college according to the college's strategic plan.
  5. Following up on the existing college projects with project managers, ensuring that they are proceeding within the approved plan and coordinating with the Project Management Office.​
