Services

Services

The administration is dedicated to enhancing students' competencies and promoting their active participation in local and international events, conferences, competitions, and student trips. It also facilitates the engagement of female students in sports, student clubs, and extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the administration provides comprehensive support for skill development, as well as psychological, social, and career counseling services to both students and alumni. Additionally, it offers a wide range of services to graduates aimed at fostering their integration into society, advancing their professional development, and encouraging their involvement in volunteer work. 

Tasks:

1. Supervising student club and sports activities, student events and competitions, and the college theater, in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs.
2. Supervising student volunteer work in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs.
3. Providing support services (financial aid and loans, student rights, female student housing, student cooperation, lockers, and  catering).
4. Providing psychological and social counseling services to female students.
5. Providing services to female students with disabilities.
6. Providing alumni services and fostering a positive relationship with the college, in coordination with the university's Alumni Department.
7. Providing skills support and career guidance to female students and alumni, in coordination with the university's Student and Career Support Center.
8. Coordinating with the college's Partnerships and Community Responsibility Department regarding student volunteering.

Students Engineering Club:

A student club dedicated to disseminating knowledge and science to female university students, educating them in the field of engineering, and engaging them in cultural activities and international days. Its goal is to enhance and support the role of female students in engineering, develop their skills, and advance them toward excellence. All student participation is recorded in the student's skill record. 

Nomination Requirements for Student Club Membership:​

• The student must be enrolled and regularly attending one of the university's colleges.
• She must have good conduct and not have been subjected to any disciplinary action.
• Membership must be renewed annually.
• Complete the membership application form.

Sports club:

The Sports Club is dedicated to improving the physical fitness of female students through the organization of events, competitions, and sports activities. It also focuses on developing students' skills and sports interests, forming sports teams for various activities based on their preferences, and supervising their commitment to participation. 

Student Activities:

It is dedicated to enhancing extracurricular activities for female students by planning events throughout the year based on students' preferences and available resources. Additionally, it focuses on promoting diverse cultures, organizing various activities, and activating international days.​

 Student Lockers:​

​The office responsible for renting lockers to female students in the College of Engineering is the Support and Aid Services Office.

Graduates Unit:

The Graduates Unit aims to maintain communication with all alumni and inform them about workshops and courses designed to support their professional development. Additionally, the unit fosters ongoing engagement to gather their feedback and implement their suggestions for the continuous enhancement of the program. This includes encouraging their participation in college events and community service. 

Psychological and Social Counseling Unit:

The Psychological and Social Counseling Unit focuses on preparing students to become active members of society, capable of psychological and social adaptation and integration. It aims to promote the values and ethical principles encouraged by our faith. Additionally, the unit seeks to address students' social needs, such as a sense of belonging, fulfilling social roles, social acceptance, and creating a suitable social environment that enables students to realize their potential and serve their community. ​

Tasks:

1. Study the social, psychological, and economic conditions of female students and work to resolve them.
2. Identify the manifestations of the social, psychological, and behavioral problems that female students suffer from and implement programs to address them.
3. Develop the students' abilities to discover their talents and utilize them to address the challenges they encounter.
4.  Assist female students in achieving the highest levels  of psychological, social, and academic adjustment.
5. Refer female students to various community institutions when necessary.
