About The Academic Program

This program aims to provide students with a solid scientific foundation in electronic engineering, ensuring they stay abreast of ongoing developments in electronic engineering applications. Students will be able to identify issues, participate in electronic engineering projects, and develop plans and solutions according to high technical specifications. The program also enhances students' computer proficiency for analysis, design, and other electronic engineering-related tasks. Graduates of the program will be equipped to pursue careers in various industrial sectors, including electronic systems, power generation plants, and manufacturing of electronic components, as well as opportunities in military industries and independent consultancy or manufacturing projects. Additionally, the program prepares graduates to engage in self-employment or pursue further graduate studies in electronic engineering.

According to the Unified Saudi Occupational Classification, electrical engineers can hold positions such as Electronics Engineer, Device Electronics Engineer, Automation Engineer, Wiring Electrical Engineer, and Medical Devices Engineer. These roles allow graduates to apply their expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and devices, contributing to advancements in technology and supporting the infrastructure needs of both public and private sectors.

Nature and Goals of the Program

The program is designed to qualify students to become engineers who can keep up with the latest technologies and ongoing advancements in different areas of electronics engineering. This is accomplished by providing a solid scientific foundation in the fundamentals of electronic engineering, as well as equipping students with the necessary analytical, experimental, and computational tools to identify engineering problems and projects, and then develop high-tech solutions that take ethical and social considerations into account. This ensures that graduates can continuously adapt to the evolving developments in electronic engineering applications.

K1 Define knowledge of mathematical concepts including differential and integral calculus, probability, and statistics, along with their applications in the field of Electronics Engineering.
