The Electrical Engineering Department was established in 1439 Hijri within the College of Engineering in Princess Norah Bint Abdulrahman University. It offers three recent programs Electronics Engineering (158 credit hours), Communications Engineering (158 credit hours) and Renewable Energy Engineering (162 credit hours) to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. The department is committed to excellence in teaching, following the latest education and learning strategies, promoting awareness of responsibility and supporting engineers towards excellence and creativity. These programs seek to meet the demands of labour market and adapt their outcomes to the human development needs. Department Mission: Prepare highly qualified female electrical engineers who are capable of competing effectively, both locally and globally, by providing them with a comprehensive academic environment that aims to develop their knowledge and skills, supports innovation and scientific research, in order to contribute to the attainment of national goals of sustainable development and community service.
