The Artificial Intelligent Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences Concludes the “Arabic Intelligence Talks Series”

The College of Computer and Information Sciences, represented by the Artificial Intelligence Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with the Arabic Intelligence Center at King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language, concluded on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, the “Arabic Intelligence Talks Series.” The series was attended by approximately 445 participants, including faculty members, students, researchers, specialists, and individuals interested in the fields and applications of artificial intelligence with the Arabic language.
The series aimed to highlight the use of artificial intelligence technologies in serving the Arabic language, discuss key issues related to its technological development, and explore its future amid rapid digital transformations, reflecting the series’ knowledge impact and the wide scope of its benefits.
The talks covered a range of topics, including:
• “Who Understands My Dialect? Artificial Intelligence Between Classical Arabic and Dialects,”
• “Intelligence and Gamification in the Language of Ḍād,”
• “From the Blackboard to Chatbots: A Journey from Traditional Classrooms to AI-Enhanced Learning,”
• “Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence: Building Ethical and Responsible Systems for the Future,” and
• “Large Language Models (LLMs) and the Future of Arabic Content.”
The sessions addressed the role of artificial intelligence in understanding the Arabic language and its various applications, discussed challenges related to applying language models to Arabic dialects, introduced the concept of large language models, showcased successful models and experiences in integrating artificial intelligence and gamification in teaching Arabic, analyzed the impact of these technologies on producing and generating Arabic content, and compared their performance with other global languages.
Dr. Shrooq Alsenan, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, stated that the “Arabic Intelligence” series comes as part of the Center’s efforts to support specialized scientific initiatives and enhance integration between modern technologies and the Arabic language. She emphasized “the importance of building Arabic digital content supported by intelligent models that take linguistic and cultural specificity into account, and that contribute to preparing national competencies capable of developing responsible technological solutions aligned with future requirements.”
The “Arabic Intelligence Talks Series” reflects the College of Computer and Information Sciences’ commitment to contributing to the achievement of its strategic plan objectives by offering high-quality initiatives that strengthen the University’s role in supporting research and innovation, spreading digital knowledge, and reinforcing the status of the Arabic language in the age of artificial intelligence.
