The English Language Institute at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has opened registration for the “English Language Preparatory Course,” with registration continuing until April 1, 2026, with the aim of preparing students with the academic language skills required to enroll in the university’s postgraduate programs. The course is considered a preparatory program for students wishing to enroll in postgraduate programs at the university. It focuses on developing academic English skills in writing, reading, listening, and speaking, based on an academic curriculum aligned with best practices in English language teaching. The preparatory course includes two training tracks. The first track consists of 12 weeks of study, with 12 training hours per week, while the second (intensive) track consists of 12 weeks of study, with 16 training hours per week. The program is delivered through a combination of in-person learning and online learning, in addition to a designated self-learning day, enabling trainees to enhance their skills through various learning resources and by visiting the institute’s Speaking Center and Writing Center. It is worth noting that the preparatory course is equivalent to the required score in the approved English language test for admission to postgraduate programs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, thereby enabling students to meet the English language requirement for admission.
