Princess Nourah University Announces the Winners of the “Noura Childhood Award”

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University announced the winners of the “Noura Childhood Award” in both the institutional and individual initiative categories, as part of the activities of the “Childhood Thrives in 2030” conference, organized today, Wednesday, 22 October, in collaboration with the Early Childhood Agency at the Ministry of Education, and under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, with the attendance of the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Enas bint Suleiman Al-Issa. The first place in the institutional initiatives category was jointly awarded to the Child Life Society for its initiative “Child Life Jewel” and to Al-Wedad Charity Foundation for its initiative “Permanent Embrace.” Second place was awarded to Yenmu Information Technology Company for its initiative “My Child Grows,” while Makarim Al-Akhlaq Society secured third place for its initiative “Salsal Kids Channel.” In the individual initiatives category: Dr. Sara Al-Abdulkarim won first place for an educational podcast aimed at promoting positive and effective approaches to parenting and children’s learning, Lama Qashlaq won second place for her initiative “STEM for Childhood”, and Dr. Nahla Qahwaji secured third place for her initiative “Improving Care and Learning Data Quality in Nurseries.” The award aims to celebrate outstanding national efforts to improve children’s quality of life and psychological well-being, and to highlight the latest developments in child protection through honoring the best educational and community initiatives that integrate modern technologies and sustainable development concepts. The conference is part of the efforts of the College of Education and Human Development at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, together with the Early Childhood Agency at the Ministry of Education, to establish a leading platform that envisions the future of childhood development and flourishing. The conference seeks to create supportive environments for health and well-being, enrich the educational experience, and promote excellence in teaching and learning.
