Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will organize Career Day on Monday and Tuesday, February 17–18, 2025 (including the Career Guidance Forum and the accompanying Employment Exhibition), under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Mr. Youssef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center. Career Day, held under the motto “Competencies Shaping the Future,” represents a strategic step toward bridging the university with the labor market. It provides an opportunity for attendees to meet representatives from employment entities, career advisors, and job seekers to facilitate guidance and empowerment in mapping out their future careers. The event will feature participation from more than 30 governmental and private entities, approximately 35 speakers, and 40 career advisors. Career Day aims to familiarize graduates with labor market requirements, enhance their ability to identify personal interests and career paths, support job seekers in finding positions aligned with their qualifications and ambitions, and provide employment opportunities while showcasing outstanding graduates to the labor market. The accompanying Career Guidance Forum and Employment Exhibition are expected to attract over 50,000 visitors, including practitioners, career guidance professionals, graduates, students, and employers. The program will include around 12 panel discussions, 18 training courses and workshops, seven individual and group career guidance sessions, and presentations of two inspiring alumni experiences. Dr. Maha Khayyat, General Supervisor of Career Day and Dean of the College of Design and Arts, stated: “The University is keen to hold Career Day annually as part of contributing to the nation’s vision by empowering qualified young men and women across various disciplines to serve the country and participate in its developmental journey.” Career Day aligns with Princess Nourah University’s strategic efforts to support Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision, particularly in developing human capabilities, delivering competitive competencies, integrating with the labor market, and enhancing knowledge, skills, and values.
