The College of Science at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized the “Scientific Vision” Forum to enhance scientific research and innovation skills in the fields of science and health, reflecting the College’s commitment to supporting its students and increasing their opportunities for acceptance in appropriate training institutions.
The three-day forum highlighted the research dimension within the College by showcasing its departments and their roles in developing research and scientific communities, as well as the programs, competitions, initiatives, and supported research models aimed at empowering youth. The forum included several booths addressing diverse topics, such as the fundamentals of scientific research, research ethics and design, the use of digitalization in scientific research through software and technologies that contribute to research advancement, digital transformation in line with Saudi Vision 2030, and the role of scientific research in promoting sustainable development and modern societal trends. The forum also featured numerous practical research applications, including scientific paper writing, research poster preparation, the use of artificial intelligence in research, and hands-on scientific experiments and educational models. More than 700 female students and members of the academic and administrative staff attended the forum. This initiative comes as part of the College of Science’s contribution to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by providing a stimulating learning environment, and supporting the research, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
