The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized yesterday, Monday, 16 February 2026, a panel discussion as part of the “Spark Hub” events titled: “The Knowledge and Creative Economy of Arts and Design: How Creative Knowledge and Innovation Transform into Economic Value,” with the aim of enhancing the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and individuals interested in the field. The session was held at the University’s Natural and Health Sciences Research Center. The session aimed to empower participants to develop their entrepreneurial ideas, support startups, and build their capacities for growth and sustainability, in addition to providing an interactive environment for exchanging expertise and building professional relationships, and contributing to the creation of real, practical, and applicable opportunities in the field of innovation. The discussion addressed several key themes, most notably: how to transform creativity into recognized economic value; the importance of building investable skills; mechanisms for market evaluation of creative work; the importance of establishing a clear identity and a sustainable business model for creators; and the foundations for continuity and growth in entrepreneurial projects. It is worth noting that “Spark Hub” is a space that brings together students, graduates, and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, learn, and build networks.
