Deanship of Student Affairs Hosts Delegation of Female Students from the University of Tokyo, Japan

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University hosted a delegation of female students from the University of Tokyo, Japan, from 7 to 14 February 2026, as part of efforts to enhance cultural and academic cooperation between educational institutions through the exchange of expertise and the organization of joint visits and programs. The visit included a package of cultural and educational programs, including an introductory program on Saudi culture titled “Welcome to Saudi Arabia,” an “Arabic Language Education” program at the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers, and an interactive program “Traditional Saudi Hospitality Experience,” introducing the delegation to local customs and traditions through diverse experiences from Saudi heritage. The hosting also included a guided tour of the university campus, covering the College of Engineering, the Natural and Health Sciences Research Center, the Medical Skills and Simulation Center, as well as field visits to major tourist and cultural landmarks in Riyadh. This visit reflects the university’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and promoting innovation, represents an effective opportunity to benefit from diverse academic experiences, and contributes to building a globally competitive educational system across various fields. As part of the cultural exchange program between Princess Nourah University and the University of Tokyo, the university team achieved first place in an international friendly table tennis match with the participation of students from both universities, contributing to strengthening a positive competitive spirit among students. Hosting the students from the University of Tokyo comes within the Deanship’s efforts to achieve the university’s strategic objectives by building bridges of communication with local and global communities and enhancing impactful international presence.
