The Department of Media and Knowledge Impact at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized, on Monday and Tuesday, 16–17 February 2026, a special Founding Day exhibition at the University’s Permanent Digital Media Exhibition, held at the exhibition venue in the Central Library. Visitors to the exhibition—including faculty members, administrative staff, and students—were introduced to innovative, technology-driven tools and interactive knowledge experiences through approximately (20) digital screens. These screens showcased the history of the Saudi state through digital content designed using innovative methods and interactive knowledge materials that reflect historical depth, civilizational heritage, and diverse cultural legacy. The Supervisor of the University’s Digital Media Exhibition, Ms. Abeer Al-Farhan, explained that this year’s Founding Day exhibition presented a series of interactive digital and artistic activities, including interactive experiences simulating key milestones in “the journey of the Imams and Kings across three centuries,” “Diriyah and its status as the first Saudi capital,” “historic palaces in the history of the Saudi state,” and “traditional attire from various regions of the Kingdom,” culminating in “the symbolism of the Founding Day logo.” The exhibition took visitors on an interactive knowledge journey through innovative touch screens. Visitors also engaged with a selfie photography station featuring a national frame inspired by the symbolism of the Founding Day logo, a visual presentation highlighting the traditional craft of Al-Sadu weaving, and knowledge materials addressing heritage themes, in addition to an exhibition of artworks created by students from various university colleges that reflect values of pride in identity, loyalty, and national belonging. It is noteworthy that the Digital Media Exhibition is the first platform of its kind for digital media content at the level of Saudi universities and is held annually in conjunction with national exhibitions as part of its media and knowledge mission. The University’s Digital Media Exhibition contributes to achieving the strategic objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University by leading knowledge and community impact and supporting innovation in sustainable media, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
