College of Engineering and Gulf Laboratory for Training Sign Cooperation Agreement

The College of Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University signed a cooperation agreement with the Gulf Laboratory for Training on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), hosted by the Kingdom at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. The agreement aims to contribute to supporting and developing projects and initiatives, enhancing academic and research collaboration, exchanging practical knowledge, and providing training in areas of mutual interest between the two parties. The areas of cooperation outlined in the agreement include student training, the delivery of workshops, joint collaboration in development and scientific research fields, the organization of engineering competitions, and the empowerment and support of scientific research. The agreement was signed on behalf of the College of Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University by the Dean of the College, Dr. Hanan bint Manaqash, while the Gulf Laboratory for Training was represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Mohammed Al-Muaili. In her remarks, the Dean of the College of Engineering emphasized that building such strategic partnerships contributes to enhancing students’ expertise and knowledge, strengthens their ability to engage with professional challenges, and fosters innovation in advanced engineering solutions. The signing of the cooperation agreement reflects the shared commitment of both parties to achieving common goals, enhancing cooperation in the field of engineering, promoting a knowledge-based economy, and activating effective communication between institutions.
