Students from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Fawz Al-Otaibi and Riham Al-Mazrou, won first place in the Electronic Chip Design Hackathon (Chipathon) organized by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).The students developed innovative technical solutions for a low-noise amplifier (LNA) used in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Their outstanding work was honored at the Future of Semiconductors Forum held at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). This achievement highlights the excellence and creativity of national talents and reflects the university’s and the college’s dedication to supporting student excellence, developing their skills and capabilities, and enabling them to compete both locally and internationally
