The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries Organizes a Set of Training and Development Activities

The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of training and development activities during November 2025. The activities included panel discussions and training programs aimed at developing the university’s academic and administrative staff and students, and enhancing their capabilities in order to build an educational environment that supports excellence. The Deanship held a panel discussion titled “Authorship in Children’s Literature and Children’s Books in the Virtual Reality Era”, which aimed to shed light on mechanisms for developing, supporting, and enhancing children’s books, with a focus on their importance and their role in developing children’s language skills. It also organized a training program titled “English in the Workplace,” which included several key topics, most notably: linguistic fundamentals and daily communication, guidance and directions inside the library, and writing and reading comprehension skills. In the same context, the Deanship held workshops titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Developing Library Services” and “Training on Accessing and Searching the Saudi Digital Library,” with the aim of enhancing the university’s members’ knowledge of modern technologies and digital transformation. These efforts come as part of the Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries’ contribution to achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, through excellence in teaching and learning, and through enriching the knowledge and skills of the university’s members and students, as well as improving fundamental learning outcomes.
