Princess Nourah University Ranks Seventh in the “Excellence” Category of the National Digital Education Index (2024–2025)

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University ranked 7th in the “Excellence” category of the second edition of the National Digital Education Index 2024–2025, issued by the National eLearning Center, among 34 public and private higher education institutions. The ranking reflects the university’s efforts to advance digital education, strengthen institutional excellence, and adopt advanced technologies and innovative practices that achieve a sustainable balance between efficiency and innovation—positioning PNU among the leading institutions in digital transformation in education. The university worked to enhance governance and transparency in digital education, elevate the performance of digital learning systems, and improve the learning experience for students and faculty through an integrated digital environment. PNU also prioritized innovative educational content design through its “Open Educational Content” initiative, achieving 5th place among Saudi universities, demonstrating its commitment to advancing open educational resources. In the first edition of the index (2023–2024), PNU achieved the “Innovation” level with a perfect 100%, the highest among the four dimensions (innovation, excellence, activation, foundation). The National Digital Education Index aims to monitor the progress of digital education in the Kingdom and assess its alignment with rapid developments and evolving needs, based on three key pillars: trust, efficiency, and innovation. This achievement highlights PNU’s efforts to meet its 2025 strategic objectives through enhancing digital education quality, adopting leading-edge practices aligned with future demands and consolidating the university's position among leading educational institutions.
