The College of Medicine at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized the sixth virtual preparatory program to pass the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties exam, targeting fifth-year medical students in colleges of medicine. The program lasted five days and hosted several specialized consultants with the aim of enabling students to develop skills in answering the Professional Licensing Exam questions in the main medical specialties: Surgery, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. The program included four interactive training lectures to discuss clinical cases related to the main medical specialties, focusing on developing students’ skills and strengthening their critical thinking abilities by presenting techniques for solving multiple-choice questions and discussing ways to avoid mistakes while answering them, including reviewing general topics across health specialties. This program comes as part of the College of Medicine’s efforts to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan by offering updated academic programs, achieving excellence in teaching and learning, and developing skills, knowledge, and values.
