The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Advisory Council at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, continues its awareness campaign titled “I Am Aware,” which will run until the end of the first semester of the current academic year. The campaign aims to enhance students’ legal and academic literacy and raise awareness of university regulations and policies. The initiative aligns with the university’s strategic goals to foster a learning environment that promotes responsible education, enhances the quality of campus life, and empowers students to understand their rights and responsibilities within the educational system. The campaign focuses on introducing students to university regulations in a simplified and interactive manner, and on promoting a culture of discipline and responsibility—contributing to building a university community grounded in awareness and positive engagement. The activities include digital awareness content highlighting university bylaws and mechanisms for implementing them, as well as awareness booths at the Student Advisory Council and various colleges, offering concise and clear information to simplify legal and procedural concepts. The campaign also extends digitally through university email to ensure all students receive its content. Dr. Donya Al-Farraj, Dean of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah University, explained that launching this campaign is part of the deanship’s initiatives aimed at empowering students with regulatory knowledge and strengthening their awareness of their academic rights and responsibilities. She added that understanding regulations is a fundamental pillar in shaping responsible students capable of active participation in their educational environment. The “I Am Aware” campaign reflects the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Advisory Council, in contributing to the achievement of Princess Nourah University’s 2025 strategic plan by reinforcing values such as awareness, discipline, and responsibility, while enriching students’ educational experience and preparing academically competent graduates.
