Princess Nourah University Celebrates the Graduation of Its 17th Cohort of Distinguished Students

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ spouse, Her Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hithlain, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University held, on the evening of yesterday, Sunday, 9 June 2024, a ceremony celebrating the graduation of the 17th cohort of its distinguished students—master’s and higher diploma graduates, the top ten bachelor’s degree graduates, and diploma graduates—for the academic year 1445 AH. This was marked through the Excellence Ceremony, held at the University’s Conference and Symposium Center. In her speech on this occasion, H.E. the University President, Dr. Enas bint Suleiman Al-Issa, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the honored presence of Her Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hithlain at the University’s Excellence Ceremony, and for her unlimited support for the national development movement and the empowerment of Saudi women. Dr. Al-Issa dedicated to Her Highness the University’s distinguished achievement of receiving the award for the “Most Improved University in the Arab Region” over the past five years in the QS World University Rankings. Dr. Al-Issa stated that the University today places strong confidence in the competence of its graduates—master’s, higher diploma, bachelor’s, and diploma holders—from its various colleges and institutes to “achieve the goals of Vision 2030 and participate in the comprehensive development journey,” affirming the University’s pledge and commitment to exert further qualitative efforts to enhance women’s leadership roles, develop the educational ecosystem, and build globally competitive female citizens. The Excellence Ceremony celebrated approximately 418 graduates and included a series of diverse segments, including a speech delivered by the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Ghada Al-Ommani, a procession of faculty members, another for graduates, the oath-taking of graduates of the health colleges, honoring the ideal student at the University level, and recognizing distinguished graduates. Princess Nourah University had begun, at the start of last week, a series of graduation ceremonies totaling 22 ceremonies, organized by the University’s colleges and the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers, celebrating the graduation of more than 6,000 students. The Excellence Ceremony aligns with the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to highlight the civilizational role of women and strengthen enablers that support excellence and sustainability. It also reflects the University’s care for its community members and its appreciation of their achievements, alongside its commitment to fostering a spirit of competition and motivating students to pursue excellence throughout their university journey.
