Throughout the month of September, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is offering a diverse range of scientific activities, workshops, and training programs organized by several university colleges, centers, and deanships for interested participants from within and outside the university. These activities cover various health, technological, and creative fields. Among the offerings is the monthly virtual advisory session “Your Healthy Start,” organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, Nutrition Unit in collaboration with the Saudi Charitable Diabetes Association, aimed at highlighting the importance of balanced nutrition, adopting a healthy lifestyle, and engaging in physical activity to reduce the risk of diabetes. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, through CODE Lab, is delivering a training course titled “Odoo System Fundamentals for Enterprise Operations Management,” focusing on equipping participants with essential skills to use Odoo as an intelligent system that supports organizational management, performance improvement, and efficient decision-making. The center is also offering a digital session titled “Design Thinking,” introducing the methodology and demonstrating how it can be applied to develop user-centered products and services. Meanwhile, the College of Computer and Information Sciences is organizing a training course on “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research,” covering key areas such as: introduction to the foundations of scientific research, guidelines and ethics of AI usage in research, and AI tools for literature review, academic writing, reference management, data analysis, and visualization. These activities support the university’s 2025 strategic plan, which aims to achieve excellence in teaching and learning, enhance skills and knowledge, and strengthen the research, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
