The competition attracted up to (55) students from across the University. The competition, organized in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers, honored students who achieved first place in each competition category. The competition was divided into three main sections: Literary Arts, which included poetry, short stories, and theatrical texts; Performing Arts, including debates and oral narration; and Visual Arts, which included digital children’s stories and Arabic calligraphy. The competition aimed to enhance the status of the Arabic language among students, reinforce its cultural value, strengthen national and human values, and create a motivating competitive environment that fosters active linguistic engagement, in addition to developing students’ creative abilities in expressive and performance fields. The competition focused on Arabic language arts and showcasing talents, fostering creative output in an interactive and competitive environment, based on high scientific and objective standards. Winning works were selected by a specialized judging committee, while supervisory, executive, and scientific committees were formed from academic and administrative staff members of the Arabic Language and Literature Department and the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers. The Princess Nourah University Arabic Language Competition contributes to investing in students’ talents through extracurricular activities that play a vital role in building educational and life experiences, in alignment with the University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which aims to build knowledge societies and enhance skills, knowledge, and values.
