The Women Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, launched the second edition of the “Ministry of Health Leaders” program, aimed at developing leadership skills of Saudi women in the healthcare sector and enhancing their role in driving change. The program involves 27 female leaders from the Ministry of Health. The program, running until the end of May, includes a series of intensive, specialized workshops and training courses covering topics such as “Self-Awareness and Reflection,” “Design Thinking,” “Agile Leadership,” “Strategic Leadership,” “Authentic Leadership,” and “Leading Change,” as well as courses on “Reflections on the Leadership Journey” and “Capstone & Innovation Challenge.” The program focuses on strengthening leadership capabilities, critical thinking, and adaptability, equipping participants with strategies to lead change effectively in healthcare environments. By the program’s end, participants will be able to apply effective leadership methods, enhance self-awareness, develop problem-solving skills innovatively, adapt to the evolving needs of the healthcare sector, and build supportive networks within their professional field. The “Ministry of Health Leaders” program contributes to achieving the goals of Princess Nourah University’s 2025 strategic plan, aiming to support female leaders in the healthcare sector locally and regionally, highlight their role, and enhance knowledge, skills, and values to contribute effectively to national development.
