Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded “Career Day 2025”—which includes the Career Guidance Forum and the accompanying Employment Fair—on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The event aimed to introduce graduates to labor market trends, help them identify their professional interests and pathways, and develop their skills in line with workforce needs. The event was held at the University’s Conference and Convention Center. Sponsored by the Minister of Education, H.E. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, the two-day event served as a platform connecting employers, career counselors, and students entering the job market, supporting job seekers in identifying opportunities aligned with their skills and ambitions. It aligns with the strategic pillars of the Human Capability Development Program under Saudi Vision 2030. Panel discussions addressed several strategic topics, including: governance of career guidance and its legal, regulatory, ethical, and professional frameworks, the role of Vision 2030 in strengthening career guidance, internationally recognized professional tools and assessments, workplace happiness: necessity or luxury? A number of labor market experts, academics, career mentors, and social specialists participated in the discussions. The program also featured workshops and training courses on topics such as job interviews, social intelligence skills, communication and self-development, career readiness, and choosing a university major. During the event, Princess Nourah University signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding with organizations specializing in business solutions, consulting, human resources, research and development, innovation, and professional development for persons with disabilities, aimed at enhancing cooperation, developing skills, and improving the quality of educational outcomes. The accompanying Employment Fair offered support for graduates seeking to enter the job market by providing information about participating entities, areas of specialization, available job opportunities, and desired qualifications. This initiative supports Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by strengthening the knowledge economy and national transformation, raising awareness of labor market needs, and providing competitive, highly skilled graduates capable of contributing to national development.
