The Deanship of Development and Quality at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded the “Jahiziyah” standardized tests to assess female students expected to graduate during the current academic year 2024–2025. This initiative falls within the third phase of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission’s initiative aimed at enhancing the readiness of graduates from Saudi universities to enter the labor market. The tests covered female students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs across 16 specializations, including the College of Science, College of Law, College of Engineering, College of Computer Science and Information, and College of Business Administration. The objective was to measure students’ achievement of the intended learning outcomes in their respective disciplines and to strengthen alignment between academic program outputs and labor market requirements. “Jahiziyah” is among the initiatives launched by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for final-year bachelor’s degree students in higher education institutions. It aims to enhance the quality of education, thereby reflecting positively on workforce quality, increasing employment rates, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, boosting productivity, and enhancing the ability to utilize advanced technologies and products. The Deanship’s participation in the initiative for the third consecutive year aligns with the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in aligning educational outputs with labor market needs in terms of knowledge, skills, and values.
