English Language Institute Organizes the International Conference “The Future in English Language Education: Empowering Ideas and Embracing Sustainability and Innovation”

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the English Language Institute, is organizing the international conference titled “The Future in English Language Education: Empowering Ideas and Embracing Sustainability and Innovation” on Wednesday, 29 January 2025, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan. The conference will be held at the University’s Conference and Convention Center. The conference serves as a forum for researchers and practitioners in English language education, bringing together a distinguished group of experts from within and outside the Kingdom to present leading research, explore innovative pedagogical approaches, and promote intellectual exchange. This initiative supports the University’s role in preparing qualified competencies that contribute to national development and align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The conference aims to exchange and discuss the latest research and innovations in English language teaching and learning, explore the challenges and opportunities facing English language education in the 21st century, develop strategies that enhance sustainability and innovation in the field, and strengthen collaboration and communication among specialists. The event is expected to attract more than 300 participants, including education professionals, researchers, writers, graduates, and students in English-related disciplines. It features an accompanying exhibition, along with a range of activities, workshops, and panel discussions that support academic and research excellence and provide practical recommendations to advance sustainability and innovation in English language education. The conference is part of the English Language Institute’s efforts to contribute to achieving the University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which focuses on excellence in teaching and learning, fostering an innovation-supportive environment, and leading knowledge-based and societal impact through engagement with local and global communities.
