The Student Support and Career Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of workshops, training programs, and group career guidance sessions aimed at enriching the academic environment and supporting students and graduates in achieving their professional goals, while enhancing skills and knowledge. The center’s SUMOUQ Department conducted a workshop titled “Self-Esteem”, introducing the concept of self-esteem based on scientific theories that support self-discovery. In addition, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered an introductory workshop as part of the “SUMOUQ Hour” campaign at the college theater, aimed at raising awareness of the program’s role in developing skills and values, and explaining the registration mechanism on the platform. In the same context, the SUMOUQ Department organized a workshop on “Stress Management”, addressing the concept of stress management and effective coping strategies. Another workshop titled “Cloud Computing” was also held, introducing cloud computing technology, its requirements, and its key advantages. Meanwhile, the Career Guidance Department conducted a group session titled “Writing a CV for Students and Graduates at Princess Nourah University”, aimed at guiding students and graduates on how to prepare a professional résumé that highlights academic and training skills in line with labor market requirements. The Graduates Department also organized mock job interviews, with the participation of recruitment and training entities, to familiarize students with professional interview techniques, provide essential labor market skills, and create effective opportunities for engagement with industry experts. It is noteworthy that the Student Support and Career Center provides career guidance services, employment support, and training programs for students and graduates through its SUMOUQ, Career Guidance, and Graduates Departments. These initiatives contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by providing competitive graduates, preparing students for the labor market, enhancing skills, knowledge, and values, and delivering professional support and career guidance to empower students and graduates to contribute to national development.
