Applied College Signs Two Memoranda of Understanding in Aviation, Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality

The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University signed two memoranda of understanding to provide support, empowerment, and training opportunities for the college’s students in the fields of aviation, travel, tourism, and hospitality. This step reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with vital sectors, enhancing the quality of its outputs, and increasing graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market. The first memorandum of understanding was signed with the Saudi Ground Services Company, aiming to establish frameworks for mutual understanding and cooperation between the Applied College and the company in areas of shared specialization within the aviation, travel, and tourism sector. The agreement includes qualifying and training university students through specialized programs, enhancing research project collaboration, organizing periodic meetings and workshops, sharing programs, exchanging expertise in planning and institutional excellence, and exchanging faculty expertise. The Applied College was represented at the signing ceremony by the Vice Executive President of the College, Dr. Badriyah Al-Muzaini, while the Saudi Ground Services Company was represented by the Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Ahmed Al-Zahiri. In the same context, a second memorandum of understanding was signed with Caterion Catering Holding Company, aiming to achieve fruitful cooperation in training by providing training opportunities for the college’s students at Caterion, thereby contributing to the development of their scientific and practical skills. The Applied College was represented by Dr. Badriyah Al-Muzaini, while Caterion Catering Holding Company was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Wajdi Al-Ghaban. The signing of the two memoranda comes within Princess Nourah University’s efforts to expand its strategic partnerships with the public and private sectors, offer innovative educational programs aligned with labor market needs, and provide high-quality training opportunities that contribute to preparing distinguished national cadres capable of leading development in the tourism and aviation sectors.
