The College of Education and Human Development, represented by Noura Houses for Educational Expertise at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, concluded the third edition of the Career Readiness Week program, which aimed to enhance the preparedness of a number of graduating students by providing them with the knowledge and skills required to enter the labor market. The program included a series of workshops, career guidance sessions, professional interest and aptitude assessments, and personality tests, in addition to hosting representatives from employment entities and training programs leading to employment. The workshops focused on several topics, including: problem-solving, decision-making, and choosing the most suitable job; future labor-market skills; CV preparation and passing interviews; dealing with recruitment and training platforms; emotional intelligence skills in workplace environments; reading contracts and understanding employee rights and responsibilities; as well as a workshop titled “Introduction to Modern Technologies and Cloud Computing: Accelerating the Digital Future.” The Career Readiness Week program comes within the College’s efforts to contribute to the University’s Strategic Plan 2025 goals by preparing competitive graduates aligned with labor-market needs in knowledge, skills, and values, and by empowering women and strengthening their social role through increasing their participation in the labor market—consistent with Saudi Vision 2030 targets.
