The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a package of training and advisory activities to enhance the academic and professional skills of faculty members and students, and to develop their capabilities to keep pace with developmental requirements across various fields. As part of its advisory sessions program, the College conducted a session titled “Measuring Course Learning Outcomes,” aimed at enabling faculty members to apply correct methods for measuring course learning outcomes and strengthening their skills. The College also held a session titled “Insights into Implementing the Peer Assessment Strategy,” which clarified applications of the strategy and presented the designated model for implementation. In addition, the College organized a training workshop titled “Loss and Painful Experiences and Their Psychological Effects,” aiming to raise individuals’ psychological resilience, strengthen their ability to face potential crises, and provide psychological support for cases exposed to crisis. The College also offered the “Personality Compass” workshop, which addressed several topics, including: discovering personality compass types, their positive and negative traits and styles, what each type seeks in a partner, and how each pattern makes decisions and how to deal with it. In the same context, Nourah Cultural Café at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences delivered a session titled “Toward a Refined Society Through Morals,” to reinforce values within society through diverse approaches and methods that facilitate delivering values to the broader community, and to highlight their importance in shaping a Muslim society. These efforts come as part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences’ pursuit to contribute to Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by providing competitive outputs, enhancing knowledge and skills enrichment, and contributing to building the society of the future.
