The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University contributed to the preparation of the third Saudi national edition of the GUESSS 2023 Report on Student Entrepreneurship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by disseminating a local survey that reached up to 4,000 students from 39 Saudi universities. Dr. Safiya Al-Shaibani and Dr. Atiyah Bukhari from the College of Business Administration, and Dr. Maram Sabri from the Applied College at Princess Nourah University, participated in preparing the national edition as the Saudi team accredited by the global GUESSS organization, under the leadership of the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. The Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey (GUESSS) is a worldwide survey and reference that measures students’ entrepreneurial intentions across four dimensions: career choice intentions (including entrepreneurial intentions), nascent entrepreneurship, active entrepreneurship, and succession in family businesses. The tenth global edition of the report for 2023 included participation from more than 3,000 universities and responses from over 200,000 students in more than 57 countries. The importance of the report lies in providing a comprehensive picture of entrepreneurial spirit among university students, enabling higher education decision-makers to develop policies and programs that support entrepreneurial orientation. The Center’s participation reflects the strength of Princess Nourah University’s institutional ecosystem and its strong local and international reputation, and contributes to achieving the University’s Strategic Plan 2025 goals of strengthening research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
