The College of Law at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with Alwaleed Philanthropies and Faisal Al-Taya’ Law Office, launched the “Wa’eya” program, which targets students of the university’s legal clinic. The program aims to provide students with the legal knowledge necessary to empower them in the labor market and is held at the Legal Clinic headquarters at the College of Law. The month-long training program offers a range of training activities covering various legal fields, skills, and concepts, including dealing with personal status rights cases, labor rights, criminal cases, case analysis, litigation skills, preparation of legal pleadings and memoranda, and legal drafting. This enhances both the academic and professional pathways of the students. The program is distinguished by its comprehensive training methods, including interactive workshops, discussion sessions, and practical exercises delivered by legal experts and experienced lawyers. This enables students to benefit from real-world experiences and professional guidance. It is worth noting that the Legal Clinic at Princess Nourah University plays a vital role in empowering and guiding College of Law students by providing an interactive environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and experiences, offering resources and tools that support their educational journey, and enhancing opportunities for communication with legal professionals. This initiative comes as part of the College of Law’s contribution to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by empowering students, providing high-quality programs that serve the community, and keeping pace with judicial and legislative developments in the Kingdom.
