College of Education and Human Development Organizes World Teachers’ Day Event

The College of Education and Human Development at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a World Teachers’ Day event on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in celebration of World Teachers’ Day. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of teaching and to reinforce the values of gratitude and appreciation for teachers. The virtual event included a panel discussion titled “My Experience in Professional Development” and a workshop titled “Values-Based Teaching,” during which faculty members and teachers shared their rich and practical experiences in the educational field. The event focused on exchanging ideas and experiences and providing valuable guidance on learning strategies that contribute to enhancing education. It targeted faculty members, teachers, students, and various segments of society. This initiative comes within the College of Education and Human Development’s contribution to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by providing a supportive university environment for extracurricular activities, enhancing the efficiency of human capital, and investing students’ time in ways that benefit them and enrich their academic journey.
