The Media and Knowledge Impact Department at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University produced a media-based knowledge file to highlight the fields of artificial intelligence and its modern technologies, as one of the most important tools of the 21st century. This coincided with the Kingdom’s hosting of the third edition of the Global AI Summit, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, from September 10–12, 2024, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. The media file included a package of digital materials that the Media and Knowledge Impact Department contributed to preparing, producing, and publishing via the University’s digital channels, using diverse creative formats. The content addressed developments in artificial intelligence, its impact on various sectors such as health, education, and the global economy, its connection to related concepts, and its role in shaping the future. The digital materials also showcased practical AI applications and modern technologies for leveraging AI to improve quality of life, with a focus on delivering awareness messages to the public about the importance of artificial intelligence and modern technology, and enhancing public understanding of the Kingdom’s pioneering role in leading the future of technology and sustainable innovation globally. This comes within the Media and Knowledge Impact Department’s role in contributing to the targets of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which aims to lead knowledge and societal impact through managing the knowledge infrastructure, generating knowledge, strengthening communication bridges with local and global communities, and providing enriching digital content that reflects the concept of social responsibility.
