In line with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s pursuit of Saudi Vision 2030 goals, improving core education outputs, and expanding professional training for labor market readiness, the University’s Student and Career Support Center delivered during the previous academic year more than (160) courses, workshops, and group and individual career guidance sessions for nearly 5,000 beneficiaries of career guidance services at the University. To further expand the scope of its positive impact, the Center achieved a qualitative leap in the programs offered by developing Saudi female talents’ professional behavior skills, enabling them to align with emerging labor market challenges, and guiding them toward understanding future jobs. The Director of the Career Guidance Department at the Student and Career Support Center, Ms. Somayya Dakhakhni, explained: “These programs come within the contributions of continuing education programs toward achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic objectives, through organizing many specialized training programs in the professional field.” Ms. Dakhakhni added that the programs are offered to the University’s students and graduates to enrich the academic environment at the University, support students and graduates in achieving their career goals, develop professional values, strengthen the professional environment, work culture, seriousness and discipline, and ultimately creativity and preparation for a successful professional future. It is noted that career support centers in universities worldwide play a vital role in helping students prepare for the labor market and succeed in their career paths after graduation through a range of services that form a core part of university education, such as career guidance, workshops and training, job fairs, internships, preparation for cooperative training, professional assessments and follow-ups, and more. The Center’s program plan comes within its efforts to contribute to Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic directions by providing competitive outputs, raising the quality of its competencies, offering professional support, and enabling students to understand career pathways that contribute to building the future.
